A Mililani woman won big in Las Vegas last week on a progressive slot machine.
Julaine Strom, 56, left her Mililani home to attend a conference in Las Vegas. After spending some time playing the Wheel of Fortune slots, she struck it rich Wednesday.
“I played three coins and thought I’d won $1,000. I didn’t realize I’d won the top jackpot,” Strom said.
Strom won $1,465,581 on a 25-cent machine on the New York-New York’s casino floor.
Her husband made plans to fly up and join her.
